They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.Introduction: Prime Hires is seeking a skilled Operations Officer to join our client.Contract Period: 6 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: $21.31 per hour
Location: Mississauga, ON
Location Type: Onsite
Business Hours: Monday to Friday; 8 AM to 4 PMJob Responsibilities:
- Locate the correct customer profile in our digital system based on the paper file provided.
- Print relevant customer profile information and insert it into the corresponding paper folder.
- Accurately log customer details for tracking, including file identifiers and preparation status.
- Organize and box folders for efficient scanning, ensuring all materials are complete.
- Complete assigned workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity.
- Prioritize and manage own workload to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements for service and productivity.
- Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate.
- Coordinate with the scanning team and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely processing.
- Support the timely and accurate completion of business processes.
- Investigate and escalate non-standard or high-risk activities as appropriate.
- Adhere to enterprise frameworks and methodologies that relate to operations activities for own area (e.g. Anti-Money Laundering, Business Continuity Management).
- Keep others informed and up to date about all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities.
- Works within well-defined guidelines, accountable for completing routine transactions or repetitive processes within standardized framework.
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
- Time management skills, Strong attention to detail, Strong organizational skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work a physical role – lifting and moving boxes, repetitive hand/wrist movement
- MS suites – outlook, excel (filling out cells)
- Data Entry Experience – completing spreadsheets with accuracy
- Previous work with SLAs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
