Job description: Randstad is seeking two Operations Officers to join a dynamic team in Montreal. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension and conversion to permanent employment. The role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the banking sector, specifically in the funding process. You will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm. The position requires working in the office 2 days a week, with a rotation schedule to be determined.Position: Operations Officer

This position offers the chance to work within a positive, tight-knit, and fast-paced team environment. You will gain in-depth knowledge of back-office operations in a bank and the entire funding process. Paid or free parking is available. Headshots are required for application.Responsibilities
Responsibilities
The Operations Officer will provide a broad range of operational support, performing general to specialized transactions and processing activities. Responsibilities include:Execute transactions accurately and on time, adhering to established guidelines and SLAs.
Refer or escalate issues as needed, collaborating with appropriate partners to maintain service quality.
Identify opportunities to improve service delivery.
Support partners with incoming transactions, validating information and performing adjustments within authority.
Respond to partner requests effectively and efficiently.
Prioritize and manage workload to meet SLA requirements.
Understand internal and industry regulations and apply appropriate due diligence.
Maintain confidentiality and escalate issues appropriately.
Support the timely and accurate completion of business processes.
Review internal processes and suggest improvements.
Investigate and escalate non-standard or high-risk activities.
Adhere to enterprise frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Anti-Money Laundering, Business Continuity Management).
Comply with the Bank Code of Conduct.Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:Full professional proficiency in English and French.
1+ years of banking experience.
2+ years of administrative experience.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills.
Experience in an SLA-driven environment.
Eagerness to learn and comfortable working under pressure.
Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle high volumes of work.
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
Experience in real estate or legal environments is considered an assetSummary
