Job description: Job Description:Vacancy: Operational Risk & Internal Auditor (H/F/X) – We are looking for an Operational Risk & Internal Auditor (H/F/X) for our client, a leading energy and commodity trading company in Geneva, to join its dynamic and entrepreneurialThe position is a direct permanent position with our customer. The support and placement as well as all of our other services are free of charge for you as an applicant.Missions– You will develop and execute comprehensive audit plans focusing on operations within the utilities sector, such as LNG, Power, Natural Gas, and Carbon emissions.
– You will conduct risk assessments to identify high-risk areas and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
– You are responsible for reviewing and assessing trading strategies, transactions, and financial reports to ensure their accuracy and integrity.
– You will drive operational efficiency by translating audit findings into actionable insights that mitigate risks and enhance performance.
– You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define risk criteria and champion a culture of innovation in internal audit practices.
– You will stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure our practices remain cutting-edge.Profil du candidat– You have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with a preference for candidates holding a Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or CISA.
– You bring at least 6 years of experience in internal audit or risk management within the energy commodity trading industry, with expertise in the utilities sector.
– You possess strong knowledge of AML, KYC, sanctions regulations, and trading controls, and have experience conducting comprehensive audits in a fast-paced environment.
– You are a strategic thinker with proficiency in leveraging technology for data analysis and risk mitigation.
– You are fluent in English and have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
