Annual merit increases and incentive pay are available for top performers, subject to overall business performance.Role SummaryWe are currently seeking a Benefits Analyst with prior experience in the employee benefits industry. The ideal candidate will have exposure to the RFP process, underwriting, and cost analysis design. This role will support preparation of RFPs, vendor proposal reviews, financial cost analysis for client presentations, and renewal evaluations. You will work closely with both internal teams and broker/carrier partners, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables across assigned accounts.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket renewals and new business opportunities for all employee benefits lines of coverageAnalyze, compare, and ensure accuracy of vendor proposals, services, and productsManage analytical workflow to deliver accurate and timely financial reports and spreadsheetsPrepare financial analysis including cost savings, projections, contribution strategies, and vendor pricing reviewBuild additional analytical models as neededReview claims reports and support renewal justificationAssist in creating employee communication materials, including open enrollment documentsWhat We’re Looking ForHighly detail-oriented with excellent planning and organizational skillsStrong problem-solving and time management capabilitiesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointPrior experience in employee benefits, RFP processes, and cost analysisBachelor’s degree and/or equivalent relevant experienceHolds (or is willing to obtain within a set timeframe) a State Health, Life & Accident LicenseAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
