  • Material sourcing to support AOG, critical, schedule and unscheduled maintenance requests;
  • Process orders and approval documents in accordance with the company procedures;
  • Archive order documents as per company requirements;
  • Confirm with supplier on each order, monitoring lead time and ensuring on time delivery;
  • Liaison with M&E Planning team for schedule task material forecast and prepare according with planned schedule.
  • Liaison with MRO and HKE Store and Logistics team for material delivery and dispatching;
  • Monitor inventory level and perform replenishment according to reorder point;
  • Provide periodical data of spare parts inventory and stock allocation;
  • Ensure the accuracy of daily operation data input and all transactions have been properly input in the MIS system;
  • Handle invoices and monitor the payment process;
  • Establish effective communication and good relationship with service providers;
  • Liaise with suppliers and service providers (including MRO / OEM / Vendors / Outstations) and other divisions in HKE M&E department;
  • Handle ad-hoc projects assigned by management

Consumable and expendable management

  • Monitor inventory level to ensure section KPI met, proactively review safety stock level and perform replenishment to avoid shortages.
  • Raise RFQ, purchase and service orders per material request for scheduled or ad-hoc spare support, ensure material needs fulfilled.
  • Perform spares initial provisioning to support existing / new fleet expansion.
  • Collaborate with M&E team for PMA parts development.

Repairs, Loan and Exchange management

  • Handle component repairs, loan and exchange to ensure section KPI met, proactive review safety stock level and perform replenishment to avoid shortages.
  • Collaborate with M&E Tech Service team to enhance the reliability of the spares parts.
  • Continuously explore potential repair vendor from market to ensure repair services are fulfilled in cost effective manner.
  • Oversee ITM, Loan and Exchange order to ensure accurate and timely completion in core unit return.

Schedule task materials management

  • Handle material requests from preload to ad-hoc request during schedule maintenance period.
  • ADD monitoring / handle materials request of AD/SB
  • Perform spares provisioning for scheduled maintenance requirements. Regularly review and maintain safety stock level to ensure operational service levels achieved with cost effective manner.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Degree or above qualification in engineering, supply chain management, logistics, aviation or relevant disciplines;
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant working experiences in aircraft materials supply, inventory control, or other logistic aspect is preferred;
  • Basic knowledge of aircraft maintenance spare part;
  • Good analysis skill, logical thinking and stress resistant;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, good data management and analysis skills;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese.
