TOGETHER WE WIN®THE OPPORTUNITYThis position will perform a variety of tasks related to ensuring the Bank’s compliance under the Community Reinvestment Act. In this role, major responsibilities will include reaching out to and establishing relationships with community organizations for the purpose of serving as the Bank’s CRA representative and promoting the Bank’s products and services in all its communities, including to low- and moderate-income areas. The position will assist in the evaluation of donation requests from Bank employees and community organizations, the identification of community development investment opportunities. When needed, the position will also assist in evaluating the bank’s small business loans and ensuring reporting is accurate and timely.. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.   • Work with the CRA/Community Development Officers to develop, implement and achieve agreed upon targets related to the Bank’s annual CRA goals.
  • Develop the Bank’s performance context, quarterly CRA review updates, and peer bank analysis to measure the Bank’s performance against goals and other peer banks.
  • Maintain active involvement in communities within the Bank’s CRA assessment areas and seek community organizations that will assist the Bank to achieve its community development goals.
  • Seek community development service opportunities and support the development of service initiatives to bolster the levels of community development services.
  • Process donation requests and other investment recommendations.
  • Support the operations of the Bank’s Charitable Foundation.
  • Source and coordinate opportunities with community partners to support FHLBSF programs
  • Develop and present community development and CRA training for employees.
  • Keep current with regulatory changes, supervisory guidance and industry concerns

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 3-4 years’ work experience in CRA-related work is required
  • Experience working as an auditor or other compliance related work is preferred
  • Associate’s degree required or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Ability to assist with CRA-related business development strategies and coordinate actions to enhance the Bank’s CRA performance
  • Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with all members of the organization
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Highly self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a collaborative setting
  • Ability to work with Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and Power Point presentations
  • Knowledge of CRA software programs, such as CRA WIZ and Kadince, is preferred
  • Knowledge of loan products
