Department DescriptionPreparation of periodic management accounts, actual vs. budget analysis and preparation of the Statutory & Regulatory Financial Statements.Supervision of overall revenue management and reporting.Brief DescriptionPreparation of periodic management accounts, actual vs. budget analysis and preparation of the Statutory & Regulatory Financial Statements.Supervision of overall revenue management and reporting.Detailed DescriptionAssist in developing department’s policies, strategies, business plans for Reporting and Revenue in line with overall OETC strategies and directions.Provide guidance and full support to the Reporting and Revenue Team to optimize their functions efficiently.Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of the department systems, processes, resources utilization and practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement.Ensure appropriate internal control systems are in place and being implemented within the section.Preparation of periodic Maximum Allowed Revenue Model in line with the approved Price Control allowances for planning and billing purposes.Monitoring connection charges revenues based new added electrical connection agreements in line with price control allowances.Supervision of all revenues by raising correct and timely invoices for Transmission Use of System, Connection Charges, and Other Revenues.Timely monitoring the collections and reporting of outstanding balances.Responsible for preparation/review and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual Management Accounts and Business Performance report with accuracy and within agreed timeframe.Responsible for preparation of quarterly/half-yearly/annual financial statements and condensed financial statements.Responsible for preparation of Annual Regulatory financial statements.Responsible for preparation of Annual SCRC Report (Statements of Schedule Charge Restriction Conditions).Prepare reports based on need / requirement to compare budget and actual costs.Assist in examining and analyzing accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.Analyze monthly/quarterly budgets and perform variance analysis for Budget v/s Actual to maintain controls to ensure efficient functioning of the company.Preparation and monitoring of company’s financial KPIs on a monthly and periodic basis.Assist in the preparation of 5-years Business Plan and Price Control submission.Prepare financial data requested by Authority for Public Services Regulation (APSR), Oman Investment Authority (OIA) through Nama Holding Company in coordination with the department manager.Assist Financial Accounting Section’s team in their monthly and annual closing activities.Assist in the matters related to financial planning as and when required.Handle tasks as directed by the Financial Planning & Reporting Manager.
Job RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting+7 years of relevant experience in finance functions.Additional Details
Knowledge and Understanding of the Asset Management, QHSE Management System and IT Security Standard Requirements according to Integrated Management System (IMS), ISO 55001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 27001 to carry out the assigned duties as per the roles and responsibilities matrix.
