  • Responsible for the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the nursing and midwifery workforce within the CHHHS.
  • Lead nursing and midwifery workforce development across the CHHHS to ensure safe, effective and contemporary care is delivered to clients and their families.
  • Provide expert leadership and management to build and maintain a high functioning, high performing team through positive role-modelling behaviours and attitudes, highly developed communication and interpersonal skills including consultation, liaison, negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Effectively manage designated cost centre/s through contributing to budget planning, development, monitoring and analysis to ensure optimisation of resources according to the agreed service profiles and performance targets.
