Job description: A leading acute care hospital located in southern Massachusetts is now seeking an experienced Nurse Director Surgical Services to join their award-winning healthcare team.This 200-bed acute care facility is known to offer exceptional patient care to the surrounding communities and offers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient services. This organization supports more than 300 physicians and consulting staff and has proudly received national accreditation by DNV-GL Healthcare in regards to patient safety standards.Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Director Surgical Services will provide clinical and administrative leadership to the operating room, short stay surgery, and post-operative care units. Responsibilities include development and management of department budgets, develop and monitor departmental policies and procedures, lead the training and continued education of staff, ensure quality patient care that adheres to all state and federal regulatory standards, and represent the surgical services line within various hospital committees.What’s Needed to Succeed:

• Registered Nurse RN licensed in the state of Massachusetts
• Progressive nursing leadership experience in perioperative setting
• Expert knowledge of surgical nursing procedures and standards
