Job description: Triple V ( ) is seeking a Non-Profit Fundraiser for a direct hire position in the La Jolla area. This is an onsite role with operations Tuesday through Saturdays, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.Who we are: Triple V is dedicated to showcasing the accomplishments of talented students, and we’re proud to be a platform that helps youth inspire youth.
Through our scholarship opportunities, mentorships, and leadership summits, we help motivate students while celebrating their successes. Unlike many other student advocacy organizations that solely focus on academics, we spotlight a variety of fields, including the performing arts and entrepreneurship.About the role: The Non-Profit Fundraiser is responsible for fundraising for the organization, including previous fundraising, community engagement and networking, fundraising opportunity research, proposal writing and review. The Non-Profit Fundraiser has excellent writing skills with an ability to thrive under deadlines.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform research to identify available fundraising opportunities and evaluate opportunities
- Facilitate fundraising opportunities, including completing administrative documents, compiling application components, and online submission
- Identify and develop strategies to optimize fundraising in the community and through networking
- Help keep the team informed about upcoming fundraising opportunities, deadlines, and deliverables, thereby ensuring smooth completion of work responsibilities
- Prepare financial or budget plans and allocation along with the planning and finance department in accordance with each requirement
- Provide detailed reports to the funders and the board of directors with respect to the organization’s progress
- Monitor paperwork and other related documents connected with grant-funded programs
- Assist with special projects as requested
- Ensure work duties are performed in accordance with company safety policies and procedures; ensure client programs follow safety protocols
- Represent Triple V’s values on a daily basis

EXPERIENCE – EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Communications, or Business preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of prior Fundraising
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Indoor office setting
- Frequent use of office equipment, including computer, keyboard, and mouse
- Moderate noise levels
- Occasional travel to events (milage is reimbursed)

- Classification: Nonexempt
- Rate: $25-$26/hr
