Department DescriptionTo monitor, analyze and report network performance indices and coordinate improvement of the performance to meet OETC objectives for entire network of OETC (MIS, Musandam and Dhofar) with due attention to Grid Code, Transmission Security Standard and Regulatory compliance.To supervise, install, maintain, obtain data and report all metering system to comply with Metering and Data Exchange Code and Market Rules. This role ensures the optimal operation of the transmission network, monitors performance metrics, and handles financial settlements related to energy transactions. The manager plays a crucial role in meeting and reporting corporate performance targets, maintaining grid reliability and ensuring accurate and timely settlements in full compliance of Metering and Data Exchange Code.

Detailed DescriptionNETWORK PERFORMANCE· Study, analyze and report network performance data to comply with OETC objectives and System Safety Rules, Grid Code, Transmission Security Standard, Market Rules and OETC corporate objectives.· Collect, maintain and report auditable data on all aspects of Network performance and Dispatch process and demonstrate compliance where applicable.· Prepare reports on Network Performance including Monthly performance, Annual Performance.· Identify areas for improvement, develop, implement and coordinate measures to improve network performance.· Implement and demonstrate full compliance of network performance with due consideration of technical parameters and system security.· Audit response and clearance in matters related to Network Performance.· Prepare and implement SOPs in related areas.· Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.· Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.· Enhance performance and compliance monitoring, in the areas of Ancillary Services, dispatch compliance and compliance with technical characteristics (ramping, cycling etc.).· Develop a systematic approach to test AS performance and develop a ‘performance culture’ for AS providers.Investigate, Identify and lead coordination of opportunities for network performance improvement.SETTLEMENT· Supervise the procedures and tasks for all energy meter settlement tasks of OETC to close the accounts on a monthly basis in accordance with OETC responsibilities as per Metering and Data Exchange Code and Interconnection Agreements and Market Rules· Implement and maintain necessary metering workstation and supporting software to achieve these objectives.· Plan, Develop and implement all requirements to meet OETC obligations in terms of metering and settlement and Market Rules.· Manage necessary metering workstation and supporting software to achieve these objectives. Update the software, interface new meters and produce reports as per timeline.· Produce business process and, where appropriate, system documentation for settlements activities. Including SOPs and instructions· Investigate customer inquiries or complaints, or provide support to other staff investigating such inquiries or complaints.· Finalize forecasts of Maximum Transmitted System Demand MTSD and Regulated Unit Transmitted RUT as per OETC requirements.· Resolve any disputes or discrepancies related to settlements.· Prepare and implement SOPs in related areas.Job RequirementsEducation:– Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Power Engineering (Master preferred)Experience:– 9+ years’ of experience, in areas ofo Transmission System Studies & Operations – Load Flow, Short Circuit, Stabilityo Metering and Settlemento Market operationso Including, 2 years in a leadership role.Additional DetailsOther Requirement: Knowledge and Understanding of the Asset Management , QHSE Management System and IT Security Standard Requirements according to ISO55001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 27001 to carry out the assigned duties as per the roles and responsibilities matrix
