Do you have a passion for working with data and an interest in growing your data extraction, reporting and analysis skills?The Network Analyst role supports the work of the Ministry of Education’s Te Mahau regional teams by analysing and interpreting data, including enrolment data, geo-spatial data, population projections and network trends, to inform and support internal and external work programmes.The Network Analyst will work closely with the small regional network team and be part of a national community of practice for network analysts.The Network Analyst provides information, guidance and analytical support to relevant internal staff to support their work with the sector including responding to requests for information and preparing written communications, working papers, reports and presentations.Salary range: $74,015-$89,547 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver.   • recent, relevant experience in collecting, collating and analysing data and information from multiple data sources, including geo-spatial analysis
  • a proven ability in using data and insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and to influence and guide organisational and system-level decision making
  • strong written communication, numerical, statistical and information technology skills
  • exceptional time management and work prioritisation skills
  • excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across integrated teams
  • the ability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangata whenuatanga

.About our group and team | Mātau rōpū akeThe Operations and Insights team is part of Te Mahau | Te Tai Runga a frontline group that collectively provides leadership and integrated services, working with education providers, children and their whānau/families across the Wellington region.
