Job description: Working Hours: Flexible shifts across weekdays, weekends, public holidays, mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Hours vary depending on participant needs and availability.About the RoleAs an NDIS Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support to people with disabilities in their homes and communities. You will be assisting individuals to achieve their personal goals, build independence, and participate meaningfully in daily life and community activities.Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and support based on each participant’s NDIS goals and support plan
  • Assist with personal care (e.g., hygiene, dressing, toileting) where required
  • Support daily living activities such as meal preparation, light cleaning, shopping, or medication reminders
  • Facilitate social and community engagement (e.g., outings, appointments, social events)
  • Promote skills development (e.g., budgeting, travel training, communication skills)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
  • Follow behaviour support strategies and uphold participant safety and dignity at all times
  • Work collaboratively with families, allied health professionals, and other stakeholders

About YouTo succeed in this role, you should be compassionate, reliable, and respectful of individual needs and diversity. You’ll need to be adaptable, patient, and able to work independently or as part of a team.Essential Criteria:

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children Check (if supporting under 18s)
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
  • Mobile phone and internet access for rostering and communication
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination (as per government requirement)

Desirable:

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or similar
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, intellectual disability, or complex behaviours
