This role plays a key part in improving turnaround times, managing risk portfolios, and maintaining high service levels across retail and fleet business.Key Responsibilities of This Insurance Role– Assess and underwrite individual and fleet motor insurance applications based on internal policies and regulatory compliance
– Evaluate client risk profiles, including claim histories and vehicle use, to determine appropriate coverage and premium rates
– Manage day-to-day underwriting operations, ensuring timely processing and issuance of new policies, renewals, endorsements, and related documentation
– Maintain computerized records and premium data for reporting and audit purposes
– Ensure accuracy in underwriting decisions through detailed risk analysis and adherence to guidelines
– Liaise with business partners and clients to deliver an outstanding customer experience while resolving underwriting-related queries
– Monitor performance against turnaround time (TAT) benchmarks and internal service level agreements (SLAs)What Skills and Experience Are Needed for This Role in Dubai?– Bachelor\’s degree in insurance, business, or a related field; insurance-specific qualifications are an advantage
– 0 to 3 years of professional experience in motor insurance underwriting, preferably handling both retail and fleet portfolios
– Strong analytical and risk evaluation capabilities
– Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and CRM or insurance processing systems
– Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines
– Confident communicator and problem-solver with a client-first mindset
