Job description: Our client, a leading Premier Estate Agency Mortgage Advisor, is looking to recruit an ambitious and self-motivated Mortgage Advisor. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a busy Financial Services Brokerage or Retail Banking environment.Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve mortgage business targets set out for the year
  • Efficiently manage mortgage applications from initial point of contact through to funds issue
  • Operate within agreed SLA
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the mortgage advisory business and brand
  • Perform role compliantly, in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Develop and expand professional network of business introducers
  • Deliver workplace presentations and education seminars
  • Ensure accuracy by placing emphasis on a right-first-time approach
  • Prospecting at new housing development launches

Skills and Experience Required

  • Third-level qualification or equivalent experience in the financial services industry
  • Self-starter with motivation and adaptability; ability to work effectively with others
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
  • Experience managing high-value and complex mortgage applications is ideal
  • Positive energy and a can-do attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and customer-first mindset
  • Willingness to develop and learn
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication, administration, and organisational skills
  • Interest in professional progression within the mortgage industry, including undertaking relevant examinations
  • Strong technical knowledge of mortgage credit policy and products available in the market
  • Professional approach with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Appropriate industry qualification
  • Experience in a Financial Services brokerage
  • Minimum Competency Code (MCC) compliance required
  • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering requirements and compliance procedures

Minimum or Desired Qualifications Required

  • QFA (Qualified Financial Adviser)
  • Third-level qualification (desirable)
  • Full, clean driver’s licence

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
