Job description: The M&E Officer will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on the deliverables particularly related to the data validation and reconstruction units to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of the relevant activities. The M&E officer will conduct regular monitoring field visits to the sites, ensure compliance with established protocols and standards agreed with the donor, gather feedback from beneficiaries and ensure timely and quality reporting.Deliverables of the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer: * Conduct regular field visits to monitor the activities related to data validation, capacity building and reconstruction processes and ensure adherence to the protocols.

  • Identify gaps, challenges, and risks related to field activities, its processes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report key thematic areas such as GRM cases, disability, environmental and gender aspects are being properly addressed.
  • Conduct periodic quality assurance checks to verify the accuracy and authenticity deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the field teams to analyze data, project’s activities and generate insights for decision-making.
  • Prepare and submit regular monitoring reports, encompassing qualitative and quantitative analysis, follow-up on action plans/status of previous monitoring findings, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Regular reporting on the compliance to project standards, communication & visibility protocols and any other requirements.
  • Ensure compilation of thematic quality media archive (pictures and videos) of all field activities, specially during all stages of the construction work and identification of potential case studies/success stories.

Skills and Competencies: * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in data analysis application (e.g., Excel, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Key Performance Indicators: * No. of Field visits conducted.

  • No. of reports along with qualitative and quantitative analysis submitted.
  • Updated log of monitoring findings and action plan.
  • Well maintained media archive.
  • No. of case studies/success stories identified and developed.

Experience and Education: * 3 years of working experience

  • Masters
