This includes carrying out tasks related to pursuing the economic development agenda of the team and providing support to the climate ambition of the FCDO in the country.The successful candidate will work across a dynamic team in the Embassy. S/he will report to the Head of Economic and Social Development.Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve?:Policy support
Monitoring and reporting Philippine policy developments related to economics and climate as inputs to policy reports led by sector advisors in the teamProgramme support
Providing support to programme leads in the economic and climate team by helping manage programmes, coordinating across teams and reporting on project progress in line with the FCDO Programme Operating Framework (PrOF) and best practice.Administrative and logistics support
Public diplomacy/ Communications
Working with the Public Diplomacy team in the Embassy to ensure that proactive communications that actively support the UK economic and climate agenda.Corporate
Supporting the wider Embassy teams on events and visits related to policy and programmes as well as Embassy values towards an inclusive and supportive work environment.Essential qualifications, skills and experience
