Job description: The MIS Engineering Technician will play a crucial role in focusing on the creation of Parts/BOMs/Routes.We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented MIS Engineering Technician to join our manufacturing client based in North Staffordshire. You will join a leading national manufacturer and supplier of niche bespoke specialist products. You will be able to support an existing and supportive team through their growth.The MIS Engineering Technician will play a crucial role in focusing on the creation of Parts/BOMs/Routes. You will be providing support to various departments across the business including Production, EstJob Description:

• Create and maintain Parts/BOMs/Routes to facilitate efficient production processes, ensuring all details are finalised on the ERP system and supporting with any engineering updates
• Work closely with and provide support to internal departments including Production, Contracts, and Purchasing Departments
• Check Drawings match the requirements for the Sales Order Line description
• Updating of BOM creation reports where necessary
• Check technical drawings to be able to identify any errors
• Create components and fix schedules

Requirements for the MIS Engineering Technician:

• Candidates will ideally be from a strong engineering/technical background
• Experience in fabrication/timber is preferable
• Knowledge of BOMs is essential
• Must be able to interpret and comprehend technical drawings
• Prior experience using ERP/MRP/MPS systems, particularly Sage 200
• Exceptional attention to detail, and ability to work to specific and tight deadlines
• Be a strong team player

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
