Job description: Job Title: Methods EngineerJob DescriptionReporting to the Lead, Methods, the Methods Change Management Agent will manage and execute complex Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) in the ERP System to support various aircraft programs and developmental activities. You will assess impacts of design and process changes to production aircraft assembly, sub-assemblies, and detailed parts, ensuring compliance with quality standards, engineering requirements, and type specification design. You will also support Production, Design Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, and other internal groups in solving relevant technical problems.Responsibilities

• Manage and execute complex Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) in the ERP System.
• Assess impacts of design and process changes on production aircraft assembly, sub-assemblies, and detailed parts.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, engineering requirements, and type specification design.
• Support internal groups such as Production, Design Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain in solving technical problems.
• Review and interpret aircraft engineering drawings for assembly.
• Conduct impact assessments on changes applied to design engineering drawings.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment in Aerospace.
• 3+ years of previous change or project management experience.
• 3+ years of knowledge in the fabrication and assembly of aircraft parts.
• Knowledge of Aerospace engineering and manufacturing principles and techniques.
• Ability to apply sound engineering principles to operational and process design issues.
• 3+ years of experience interpreting aircraft engineering drawings for assembly.
• 3+ years of experience reviewing the impact assessment of changes applied to design engineering drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Direct aerospace engineering experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering intent without consulting engineers.
• Capability to confirm manufacturability and evaluate production decisions for parts.
• Think outside of the box, extroverted, well-spoken, and comfortable running harmonization meetings.
• Ability to lead change management processes and change mindsets.

Work EnvironmentOn-site in Victoria or Calgary, 9 – 5 role, team size currently consists of 5 people. This is a new group embarking on an exciting and challenging assignment, helping create new procedures to execute work.
