We deliver opportunities – to ourselves and to our colleagues ensuring that we can all thrive in work and beyond.We are now looking for new talent to join us as we continue to grow, innovate and deliver.Merchandising Product & Vendor Data Maintenance LeadWe are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Merchandising Product & Vendor Data Maintenance Lead, a cross functional role leading the data function on day-to-day activities while supporting the Merchandising Product & Vendor Data Manager on key business priorities.· The role requires a candidate who will be:o A leader focused on Accuracyo Analytical with strong numerical skillso Self-motivated and results drivenIf you are ready for a challenge, we want to hear from you.Apply today and discover what your career could look like with Sysco Ireland.Key Accountabilities:· Responsible for day-to-day Merchandising data team activities.· Support Merchandising Leadership team on Merchandising related projects and initiatives both Local and European including ERP & MDM implementation whilst also managing data collection process for all vendor touchpoints.· Transformation of data into meaningful data insights supporting the wider merchandising category & trading managers in making customer led decisions.· Supporting Sysco Ireland Merchandising Initiatives including but not exclusive to; Sysco Brand, Sysco Belfast & NI Growth.· Continual Process improvement of all Product & Vendor Data touchpoint processes to streamline data collection, improving both efficiency and vendor experience.Requirements:· 5+ years’ experience in Data based role.· Degree in quantitative field (preferred but not essential).· Excellent PC skills and systems knowledge particularly Microsoft Excel (MS Office essential, Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred).· Goal orientated with strong numerical and analytical skills.· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.· Ability to organise and work to tight deadlines.· Flexible, innovative and creative in attitudes to all issues and areas of the business.· Excellent team player.· Flexibility to travel between Sysco sites.· Driving License and access to own transport.Sysco Ireland Cultureo Customer Focus: We deeply understand our customers’ needs, continuously looking at ways to deliver real value.o Building Relationships: We foster strong, effective relationships across teams, always working together.
