Job description: Introduction to Role:Join our Oncology Business Unit as a Medical Science Liaison, where you’ll provide medical and ethical support for assigned products, develop medical programs, and safeguard compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines. This role is a unique opportunity to leverage skills from across the business and work in a cross-functional team, sharing knowledge and going further together!Accountabilities:As a Medical Science Liaison, you’ll identify, develop and maintain collaborative relationships with external customers. You’ll provide accurate medical advice and information to internal and external customers for specified products/therapeutic areas. You’ll also prepare medical programs as part of strategic marketing and medical plans, ensuring their implementation in the field. Your role will also involve providing medical support for pre-launch activities of new development in specified therapeutic areas in cooperation with HTA/market access/RA and marketing department as well as close collaboration with our clinical trials programmes.Essential Skills/Experience:University degree in medicine, pharmacology, natural or health sciences.Customer orientation (both externally and internally)Advanced communication and presentation skillsProject management experienceResult oriented and focusedStrong organisational and time management skillsDesirable Skills/Experience:Postgraduate degree in sciences or in business administrationMinimum 3 years of medical affairs or clinical development experience.At AstraZeneca, we change the practice of medicine and improve the patient experience by generating and communicating compelling medical evidence.
