Ensures the quality of detailed engineering, meeting project goals and critical paths, and supports the construction team with technical queries. The discipline leader will be responsible for communicating, monitoring, and overseeing other mechanical engineers to guarantee the quality operations. Additionally, this role involves understanding project needs, quantifying requirements, and developing contracts.Overseeing details engineering being develop in India, China Brazil etc.Overseeing manufacturing and quality controls before final shipmentsGuaranteeing integration with other disciplineAddressing the needs of operations representing the project and respecting GovernanceCommunication with different stakeholders.Managing communication with different nationalities and cultureOptimizing mechanical activities to expedite project execution and reduce cost· Graduation in Mechanical Engineering with at least 15 years of professional experience.· Advanced English proficiency and excellent communication skills.· Previous experience working on capital projects.· Experience with mining projects. Iron ore beneficiation plant, pelletizing plant, briquette plant is anadvantage.· Experience with bulk material handling· Experience with slurry system systems ( E.g. Pumps, pipes, agitators, tank, settling tanks and etc.)· Experience leading Mechanical discipline during the engineering development phase.· Proficiency in developing Basic and Detailed engineering using Building Information Modeling (BIM).· CAD proficiency· Experience with BIM construction is a plus.· Previous experience in Brownfield projects.· Construction experience is an advantageQualificationsMoving forward togetherWe’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone feels they belong, can bring themselves, and are heard.
