In this role, you will flawlessly contribute to the development of powerful mechanical components, ensuring the success of our groundbreaking products!A day in the Life:You will design and develop mechanical parts, including assemblies for high vacuum and ion optical parts. You will work alongside highly motivated, multinational and interdisciplinary teams. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Actively participating in product development and project planning.
  • Preparing production documentation and test procedures.
  • Installing and testing developed mechanical parts on mass spectrometers.
  • Engaging in on-the-bench and in-system design verification.
  • Calculating product and process costs.
  • Providing technical support to suppliers.
  • Managing Engineering Change Orders and Quality Control during product commercialization.

Keys to Success:

  • University degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in design and assembly.
  • Solid understanding of Product Development Practices and Tools.
  • Proven experience in 3-D modeling, SolidWorks preferred.
  • Strong background in mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in ‘should cost’ analysis.
  • Cost-conscious and effective work approach.
  • Growth mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Windows/Office programs.
