These beloved products include condiments and sauces, cheese and dairy, meals, meats, refreshment beverages, coffee, infant and nutrition products, and numerous other grocery products in a portfolio of more than 200 legacy and emerging brands.Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:Purchase materials needed for production, ensuring timely delivery and minimising inventory investmentCreate and manage purchase orders, expediting or de-expediting as needed to meet production schedulesEnsure compliance with company policies and proceduresFollow up with suppliers on deliveries, resolving any issues or discrepanciesAnalyse and report on inventory levels, providing transparency on results to stakeholdersCollaborate with suppliers, operations, and other teams to discuss performance, address issues, and plan for future needsTroubleshoot and resolve invoice discrepancies, ensuring accurate payment to suppliersPlan and coordinate materials for new product launches, minimizing waste and ensuring smooth productionDevelop, document, and maintain policies and procedures related to materials planningWork closely with various teams, including Inwards Goods, Production Planners, Accounts Payable, and Logistics, to ensure seamless supply chain operationsAbout you:A highly motivated and experienced Materials Scheduler with a passion for supply chain managementStrong foundation in business, logistics, or supply chain management, with a relevant industry or tertiary qualification (e.g. APICS CPIM or CIPSA)Prior experience in an FMCG manufacturing environmentProficient in using ERP systems and MRP theory and practiceIntermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, with basic skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPointStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think logically and mathematicallyExcellent customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholdersFull working rights in New ZealandBenefits of working with us:Pay for Performance – industry leading variable compensation offerings tied to company and individual performance on top of a competitive base salary packageParental Leave – paid time off for both primary AND secondary caregiversLeave Options – Purchased leave, volunteer leave and LiveWell leave programs to give you even more flexibility to plan your life and spend time on causes that matterGreat Place to Work certification in AustraliaIn House Training ProgramsCorporate Discount Programs & Novated LeasingReady to make an Impact?If you’re passionate about Materials & Inventory within a manufacturing environment, eager to learn, and enjoy working in a team environment, please submit your application.
