This new role is responsible for evaluating Martech business processes and advising and/or developing incremental enhancements or innovative solutions to workflows, systems, and controls. The Martech Business Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to manage process changes and ensure alignment and successful adoption of new procedures. This role will leverage Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies to conduct process audits and performance assessments, ensuring the right questions are asked to produce essential requirements, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to maximize work efficiency and drive the success of our marketing initiatives.This role requires strong focus on understanding and improving the customer experience, ensuring that all process improvements and technological implementations enhance customer satisfaction. As a key member of the Marketing Operations team, you will oversee the entire customer lifecycle and handle daily details to meet KPIs and increase conversions from Leads to Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to Opportunities. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking problem solver with top-notch facilitation and negotiation skills, project leadership abilities. They are detail-oriented and talented at convey complex ideas in simple, easy-to-understand messages for different stakeholders.This position reports to the Marketing Operations Manager within the Digital Marketing Transformation team.Performance Objectives
- Customer Lifecycle Management: Support essential marketing operations initiatives such as managing the lead and account lifecycle, lead and account scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing
- Process Analysis and Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across Marketing operations.
- Requirements Management: Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to capture, document, and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Project Managment: Coordinate and drive the development, testing, and implementation phases, ensuring the solution meets both technical and business requirements.
- Defect Management: Manage and address defects throughout the development and implementation and sustaining process.
- Process Design: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, developers, and cross-functional teams to design systems that meet business needs and ensure seamless integration across platforms.
- Marketing Compliance: Montior and review Martech process to ensure marketing activities comply with relevant data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Data Analytics: Utilize analytics tools to extract insights from marketing data and drive data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications:Qualifications – External
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent working experience.
- 5+ years’ experience with marketing automation platforms, preferably Marketo.
- Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma.
- Proven technical project management and change management experience with the ability to deliver features in complex multi-team environments with dependencies.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking ability, with advanced skills in Excel, pivot tables, charting, and databases.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in leading teams or projects, which can be crucial for driving initiatives and ensuring alignment across departments.
- Experience with customer data management platforms, data governance, and knowledge of data privacy regulations.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies, and a commitment to continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends.
- Proactive, self-starter with the drive to build first-class operations and processes
- Passionate about eliminating waste in processes.
- Fluent English written and spoken
