The Marketing Specialist role supports all our business lines across New Zealand—water, transport, buildings and community development. You’ll need to be a detail-oriented individual, with a background in marketing and/or communications and a highly organised team player who can communicate effectively, manage multiple concurrent initiatives, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.Your Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute brand promotion activity relating to sponsorships, tradeshows, conferences, events and activities for a variety of services and business sectors.Work with key business development leaders to coordinate strategic materials and other communications to promote the Stantec brand.Write thoughtful, high-impact, and engaging content and collateral that highlights our depth of experience, expertise, and creativity.Develop and execute social media campaigns to promote strategic initiatives.Coordinate involvement in corporate community engagement events and activities.Organise advertising, videography and photography to support marketing campaigns.Maintain marketing operational tools and systems.Develop market-facing communications and visual displays in partnership with the graphic design team.Work with the major pursuit team to coordinate and support proposal submission documentation and content,Your Capabilities and CredentialsCollaborative, conscientious and creativeDetail-oriented and highly organised with exceptional prioritisation skills.Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Good working knowledge of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office.Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud particularly InDesign), and other desktop publishing programs is desirable.Ability to work effectively within a group, as well as independently, and enjoy working with different personality styles and management levels, both in person and across geographies.Must feel comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.Education and ExperiencePost-secondary degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or related area preferred.4 years of experience in a marketing or communications-related role preferred.Experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction or other professional services industry is preferred but not essential.Drivers licenceWhat we offerAlong with a competitive salary we offer many other benefits to ensure your professional development & wellbeing is ongoing.Flexible Working Arrangements including purchasing up to 4 weeks additional leave and provision for school term contractsLearning and Talent Development Programs including global programmes, online learning and on-the-job learningMentoring for your own developmentProfessional MembershipsHealth Insurance – Income Protection Insurance – Life InsuranceService Recognition AwardsMental Health and Wellbeing ProgramsEmployee Assistance ProgramAbout us:Stantec is a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting.
