Job description: Title: Marketing Excellence Officer The Marketing Excellence Officer Is Responsible For Innovations Portfolio Management (Product Development, Packaging Development, Channels Enablement, Digital Transformation) Ensure successful launch of product and packaging solutions innovations in alignment with the menu architecture and touchpoint development programs in accordance with the digital experience improvement roadmap. Maintains calendar of projects per Innovation category (ensures proper categorization per development phase/gate, with up-to-date status of development progress). Ensures that each presentation to the product board is documented and filed in the minutes of the meeting database. Manages/facilitates the scheduling of presentations of the projects to ensure timely completion of development milestones. Provides guidance on the readiness of the projects to be presented to the respective innovation boards (Product, Packaging, Channels) through pre-presentation alignment sessions and with respect to the standards set in the policies and procedures manual/documents. Provides guidance to project teams on the alignment of project variables with business KPIs (sustainability to market, product quality, production efficiency, store efficiency, store operations, sales, and profitability) guarded by each member of the governance team. Ensures that new members of the workgroup are properly onboarded, especially with respect to: Innovations development process, RACI, related documents, and standards. Common tools of work and forms. Inclusion in online coordination groups and regular meeting cadences. Introduction to the product teams. Specific to Product Development/Product Board Tracks the monthly performance of the PDP in terms of Project, Portfolio Success, Share of Business, and Demand Forecast Accuracy. Coordinates with the PWG Functions on key discussion topics that need to be tabled in the regular PWG meetings (project updates, process changes, risks affecting development projects, root cause analyses). Ensures all Product Development Project Documents are saved in SharePoint (PB decks, project briefs, Forms A to F, Product Evaluation Scores, etc.). Ensures that recipients of food samples are well informed about delivery expectations and required actions. Monitors the status of lapsing risks, records, and reports updates in the fact book and during regular product workgroup meetings. Ensures Project Kickoff with PWG one week after launch approval in PB. Updates the product development monitoring file on presentation completion, number of passes, approval by the board, and approval format (via email or meeting). Updates the product development calendar to determine launch delay risks and inform the PB of the rolling agenda for at least a one-month period. Analyzes Projects and Portfolio Performance in partnership with the Process Development, Planning, and Controls Officer. Generates project performance scorecards and provides them to the stakeholders. Aligns with project teams on performance evaluation results. Presents Annual Portfolio Performance Evaluation to the Product Board. Business Process Management Ensures 100% compliance with mandatory processes including: Product, Packaging, Channels Innovation Development. Resource Management (Ads and Promo, OpEx, Accruals). Integrated Campaign Communications/Campaign Development. Menu Management. Plan-to-Payment Process across transaction types (Describe, Standard, Functional). Digital Transformation. Continuous Process Development Continuously develop processes such that activities identified to fulfill a repeatable output have defined objectives, execution sequence, standards, and corresponding success parameters. Reorder, add, or reduce process steps. Refine and strengthen parameters for correct project execution and success. Ensure alignment with workgroups/cross-functional teams and stakeholders, especially where standards must align. Resolve issues and roadblocks related to process design and execution. Develop, train, and implement forms and templates. Change Management: Drive adoption and compliance of marketing division to enhanced ways of working through training, periodic stakeholder consultations, and publication of initiative results. Drive Integration and Management of Brand Marketing Plan Ensure alignment of operating plans with annual strategic priorities. Manage the annual planning calendar of activities in alignment with the SBU planning calendar. Develop the planning template for the Annual BMP. Support the development of the annual business plan by integrating needs and resources of brands and partner functions. Contribute ideas and stakeholder assessments to co-develop plans based on organizational and departmental objectives. Workgroup Coordination And Management Conduct need-scoping activities to optimize productivity in managing projects. Facilitate project team learning on guidelines for alignment with business KPIs. Launch, facilitate, and manage planning sessions (agenda organization, workgroup stimulation, analysis presentation, discussion documentation, and milestone monitoring). Develop push-button BCP mechanisms. Develop and release required memos for MEx-led initiatives. Ensure the release of memos by respective workgroup functions as required. Lead risk assessment of projects concerning outcomes, timelines, and pipeline projects. Sales and Operations Attend S&OP meetings (Demand Review, Supply Review, S&OE) and follow through on marketing action items including: Identifying and developing BCPs for products and packaging in coordination with R&D, Purchasing, and AMG. Developing and activating promos or initiatives to manage inventory. Reviewing and coordinating movement and charging of transport costs to ensure supply supportability. People Development and Engagement Conduct regular development needs assessments within marketing. Develop learning and development paths for marketing individuals in partnership with HR. Develop programs based on annual EES action plan results. Monitor and report EES action plan progress quarterly during town halls. Ensure observation of quarterly town halls. Ensure compliance with HR-led engagement programs (BEE WELL and FAMILY FUN DAY). Monitor and ensure observance of Marketing Norms. Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in business process or systems management, project management. Experience in product development, demand forecasting, supply chain, and market research. Preferably with a background in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or Applied Corporate Management. Strong business acumen and risk management skills. Must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig (Hybrid Work Setup). Show more Show less
