Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us .Role SummaryThe purpose of this role is to drive market access strategy and optimize affordability and accessibility of our medicines at timely and sustainable manner for patients in HK and Macau. This role will also support external affairs internal and external stakeholders’ engagement activities. This person should have agile and patient centric mindset, and require experience in planning and execution on market access strategy for innovative products, and strong communication and matrix leadership skills to work across boundaries.Key Role AccountabilitiesTo lead development and execution of market access strategies for new launch medicines and prioritized post launch medicines

• Lead and drive listing and reimbursement processes independently, including planning on timeline, preparation of value dossier & relevant documents and engagement with stakeholders
• Lead and drive development of sound local value proposition through working with commercial and medical team, and WW VAP & HEOR team; and devise plan to address relevant gaps
• Devise pricing strategy with corresponding engagement plan in place that strikes balance of internal and external expectation to optimize level of access of medicines by patients
• Ensure local plan align to corporate direction and bring best practices to HK
• Work with NGOs and other external stakeholders to identify and implement innovative market access solutions through partnership
• Develop and embed effective cross functional workflow and tracker for listing excellence and build market access capabilities in the organization

External Affairs

• Represent BMS in identified external engagement platform(s) to monitor and shape external environment that support business objectives of BMS
• Monitor for market dynamics, competitive landscape and policy environment to inform adjustment of strategies and tactics for opportunities and risks
• Assist Market Access and External Affairs Lead in formulating and executing stakeholders’ engagement plan

Role Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in science or business is required, postgraduate degree in public health, health economics would be strongly preferred
• 3-6 years of Market Access, Marketing or Medical experience is preferred, less experience can be considered for Manager role; C andidate with more experience can be considered for senior manager role
• Patient-centric, agile and proactive mindset is a must
• Demonstrated strength in critical thinking and enterprise thinking, effective communication and matrix leadership skills to work across boundaries and influence without authority
• Ability to understand scientific evidence and identify implications to its value to local patients and healthcare system
• Good understanding of local healthcare environment, listing and reimbursement processes and decision making criteria of health authority for effective engagement
• Experience in successful listing and reimbursement of innovative medicines into Hong Kong Hospital Authority Drug Formulary
• Demonstrated experience in oncology and/or hematology market preferred, relevant experience in specialty care would be considered also
• Excellent presentation skills in both written and verbal English and Chinese
