This is an exciting opportunity to leave a lasting impact on a prosperous and profitable company and grow with the business going forward.This role will be crucial in overseeing daily factory operations looking at how to enhance production capacity and focusing on how to prepare systems for significant growth. With product quality always front of mind it will be crucial that you will have prior exposure to leading a team in a manufacturing environment.Each component is meticulously designed in-house and assembled with attention to detail before being delivered to customers. They are aiming for the best circular supply chain while maintaining a high standard which will rely heavily on strong leadership and excellence in the manufacturing space.Some key responsibilities in the role include:

• Oversee the production team ensuring clear communication of goals, expectations, and performance standards
• Develop and maintain production schedules in collaboration with the Production Manager and Commercial team
• Create and update capacity plans to ensure adequate resources are in place to handle anticipated production volumes and growth
• Work alongside the COO and Procurement manager to oversee inventory levels to ensure sufficient materials are available for production
• Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, including setup, production runs, and equipment maintenance
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures on the line to maintain product standards
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs
• Lead the adoption of new manufacturing systems and technologies, including ERP or MRP systems
• Analyse production costs and identify areas for cost reduction without compromising quality
• Drive a culture of safety within the production team by promoting safe work practices, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and fostering an environment where safety is a core value
