We create Omani investment platform offering our clients access to unique asset management and brokerage investment solutions in Oman and globally and become a gateway for international investors into the Sultanate.Our business and product offering include; Open-ended investment funds, Discretionary portfolio management, Investment advisory and Real estate fund and other alternative investmentsROLE OVERVIEWAs MD, you will be responsible for developing our core business in Oman, driving company growth, and ensuring our strong customer focus. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our reputation in the local market and building long-term relationships with Omani institutional, corporate, HNW and retail clients and local counterparties such as banks, regulator, capital markets infrastructure. You will also act as the primary spokesperson for the company.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement the company’s strategy and business development plan on Omani local market.
  • Identify growth opportunities and areas for innovation to enhance our competitive advantage and outstanding product offering.
  • Lead our fundraising in the local market. Attract new clients for asset management and brokerage business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, institutional investors, and stakeholders domiciled in Oman.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in Oman. Adapt strategy to maintain a strong market position.

Requirements

  • Proven experience at senior managerial position within the banking, investment management or financial services industry in Oman and GCC.
  • Strong local network of local institutional, corporate and HNW investors.
  • Strong understanding of Omani and regional capital markets, investor base, competitors, products, market dynamics, and regulatory framework.
  • Exceptional communication, sales and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth, building client relationships and execution of business development strategies.
  • A relevant advanced degree (e.g., MBA) and professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are preferred.
