• Leading the day-to-day delivery of strategy and business design engagements, including guiding junior team members and managing key work streams to achieve client objectives.
• Collaborating with client executives across diverse organisations and industries to understand their strategic challenges and co-create impactful solutions.
• Providing actionable insights and facilitating decision-making to develop strategies that drive growth, improve performance, and achieve long-term competitive advantage.
• Helping clients leverage digital opportunities to enhance operations and create meaningful impact both locally and globally.
• Developing trusted client relationships by building strong rapport, understanding their business needs, and positioning Deloitte as their partner of choice.
• Creating and sharing thought leadership and contributing to Deloitte’s eminence by showcasing innovative ideas and solutions within your team and with clients.
• Driving business development by identifying opportunities for new engagements and supporting the delivery of proposals to grow Deloitte’s impact.
• Fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment, aligning with the team’s values of fun, care, inclusivity, and connection to purpose.

QualificationsYour expertise

• 6+ years of proven experience managing and delivering organisational strategy, transformation execution, operating model design, and implementation projects. Experience in a professional services environment is highly desirable.
• Understanding and expertise in digital transformation of organisations and driving technology enabled change is highly desirable.
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes, uncover key issues, and deliver actionable solutions that drive impactful change.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and contextualise complex ideas in a clear and concise manner while adapting your approach to suit different audiences.
• An ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, addressing client challenges and delivering meaningful outcomes through teamwork and innovation.
• A passion for mentoring and developing inclusive teams, with a track record of supporting junior team members to thrive and develop in their careers.
• Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, tikanga Māori, and Te Ao Māori, with the ability to integrate these perspectives and approaches into relevant client engagements.
• For Auckland roles: Industry experience in Financial Services (FSI), banking, insurance, or health. While not essential, is highly valued.
• For Wellington roles: Industry experience in public sector, central agencies, regulatory environments, health or not for profit / community providers. While not essential, is highly valued.
