Manager, Strategic Planning and Projects, System Reform
Salary range: Crown Clerk Grade 11/12. $145,378 – $168,130 and employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Contract until 30 December 2025 (full time hours)The Mental Health Commission NSW is seeking interested applicants for the Manager, Strategic Planning and Projects position within the Directorate of System Reform. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small fast fast-paced team that leads projects and strategic plans relating to improving mental health and Wellbeing in NSW as identified in the MHC Strategic plan.The Commission is a small agency of around 30 FTE based in the Sydney CBD and working flexibly within hybrid workplace guidelines.

We believe this approach, with close collaboration in all aspects of our work, will achieve stronger services and better outcomes for all people in NSW.Visit us at:Primary Purpose of the Role:The Manager, Strategic Planning and Projects is responsible for managing the development of strategic plans relating to improving mental health and wellbeing, as identified in the annual System Reform Directorate’s annual program of work for the Mental Health Commission of NSW.Key Accountabilities
Key Challenges * Managing consultations, negotiations and cross-agency partnership arrangements on sensitive and related issues with a wide range of stakeholders of varying philosophies, priorities, capacities and interests.
