This division has responsibility to build and drive the growth of our global consumer business across our Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo, and Portfolio brands, and across all our lines of businesses including Hotels, Vacation Rentals, Air, Car, Packages, and Insurtech.We are looking for a dynamic, motivated person to join the Expedia Lodging & Portfolio team as a manager driving key initiatives. In this role, you will lead change for the next generation of travel challenges and opportunities. You will be responsible for initiatives that drive transformational change for our traveler experience, leading cross functional teams across Expedia Group. If you enjoy being results-oriented, collaborative, and owning end-to-end execution, you’ll be a great fit.In this role, you will:Lead key initiatives and investigations to drive the business forwardRecognize and frame business opportunities in a structured, analytical way to clearly communicate options, risks, and trade-offsCollaborate cross functionally working across the organization to drive decision-making and execution for successful outcomesSupport operating rhythm of Expedia Lodging and Portfolio team partnering closely with performance, analytics and finance teams (e.g. MBR/QBRs, annual plans)Experience and qualifications:You bring excellent quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills and an ability to translate metrics, research and trends into viable strategiesYou have excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate issues and influence others, including experience communicating complex information to leadersYou see the ‘big picture’ to effectively prioritize and drive multiple projectsYou are a self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced and fluid environmentYou are a team player who actively promotes & encourages diversity of thoughtBachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting and / or similar role in a leading technology companyThe total cash range for this position in Austin is $110,500 to $155,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $177,000 which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
