• Provide statistical expertise to support the R & D organization, in particular clinical trials.
• Work independently in partnership with experts in multiple disciplines to advance medicines to our patients.
• Provide expertise to design, statistical analysis & reporting of clinical in Neuroscience Therapeutic Area.
• Independently develop protocols &/or statistical analysis plans with details for programming implementation.
• Utilize experience with SAS & R statistical software, & statistical methods.
• Identify & report data issues or violations of study assumptions.
• Independently perform statistical analyses as per the analysis plan.
• Develop strategy for data presentation & inference.
• Ensure accuracy & internal consistency of reports & publications, including tables, listings, & figures.
• Ensure that study results & conclusions are scientifically sound, clearly presented, & consistent with statistical analyses provided.
• Work collaboratively with multifunction teams.
• Clearly explain statistical concepts to non-statisticians.

QualificationsEducation & ExperienceMust have a PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics or a highly related field & 2 years of academic or work experience performing statistical data analyses. Of the academic or work experience required, must have 2 years of experience: * performing computations & simulations which support drug development & clinical trials in the regulated environment.

• identifying data or analytical issues, & assisting with providing solutions by either applying own skills & knowledge or seeking help from others &
• using SAS & R statistical software.

Work experience may be gained concurrently.Additional InformationSalary Range: $152,000 – $197,000 per year.Apply online at .
