Posting Date: 2025-01-24Financial Secretary’s OfficeDivision/Section/Unit: Office for Attracting Strategic EnterprisesManager (Stakeholders Engagement)Job DescriptionThe Manager (Stakeholders Engagement) will be responsible for providing critical support to the Stakeholders Engagement team on developing and implementing strategies to engage the key industry stakeholders of Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES) to advance the organisation’s mission of attracting strategic innovation and technology enterprises from around the globe. The key responsibilities are as follows:- (a) supporting the development and execution of a comprehensive stakeholders engagement strategy and business plan to enhance collaborations with key stakeholders including but not limited to universities, R&D institutes, venture capital and private equity firms, family offices, professional services firms, industry and trade associations, corporates etc., and benefit OASES enterprises; (b) identifying and engaging with potential stakeholders to create mutually beneficial programs and initiatives; (c) fostering relationships with key stakeholders to support investment promotion efforts and enhance client service quality; (d) organising seminars, workshops, and networking events to promote collaboration opportunities between OASES enterprises and industry stakeholders through working closely with our Industry Cluster Team; (e) monitoring industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategy and program development; and (f) preparing reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting partnership outcomes and future collaboration opportunities.RequirementsCandidates should have:- (a) minimum three years of full-time work experience related to stakeholders relations and engagement, preferably in managerial role; experience of working in the government or public bodies would be an advantage; (b) previous work experience in developing and executing engagement programs that achieve outcomes; (c) extensive networks with universities, R&D institutes, venture capital and private equity firms, family offices, professional services firms, industry and trade associations, corporates etc.; (d) a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, economics, international marketing or a related discipline, more advanced degree(s) and/or professional qualification(s) would be an advantage; (e) strong business sense and solid commercial knowledge, and strong management capabilities, good communication and interpersonal skills; (f) an international perspective with a good understanding of the Mainland and Hong Kong business environment, Hong Kong’s unique role and contributions to the national policies; and (g) a strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including spoken Putonghua). Terms of Appointment: The successful candidate will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 24 months or up to 31 March 2027, whichever is earlier.Remuneration$51,545 per month
Fringe Benefits A gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the full contract period with consistently high standard of performance. The amount of gratuity payable will be the sum which, when added to the Government’s contribution to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, equals 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
