You’ll support the Executive Manager Risk Advisory & Assurance in advancing risk maturity and overseeing Risk Management Policies and Standards, enhancing operational risk management.In this dynamic position, you’ll lead the Line 2 Risk Advisory team, overseeing key risk classes and ensuring continuous improvement in risk maturity. Your strategic insights, curiosity, and innovative thinking will be crucial for success in this role.Be a driving force in cultivating a robust risk culture and promoting proactive risk management. • Demonstrated expertise in creating, managing, or providing guidance on robust risk management frameworks within a financial services organisation or professional consultancy firm.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of the insurance industry (preferable).
• Exposure to the application of risk management and assurance practices within a large corporate environment and experience operating within a three lines of defence risk model.
• High level of personal drive, and enthusiasm, creativity and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Strong relationship building and influencing skills and experience in dealing with a range of stakeholders (including senior management).
