Job description: Responsibilities:– Responsible for the procurement of diamonds and gem stones– Develop and implement purchasing strategies and ensure a steady supply of high-quality diamonds and gem stones– Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors worldwide– Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and negotiate favorable terms– Monitor market trends and provide insights to optimize purchasing decisions– Ad hoc projects as assignedRequirements:– Degree or above in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management and other related disciplines– Minimum 8 years experience in diamond purchasing– Excellent negotiation and communication skills– Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills– Good command in spoken and written English, Chinese (Mandarin)– Proficient in MS Office and Chinese word processingWe offer 5-day-work week with competitive remuneration packages to the right candidate.
