• To identify, review and assess enterprise level risks (such as strategic, reputational, operational, ML/TF/PF, compliance, fraud, shariah non-compliance risks etc.) associated with any new product/service initiative.
• To ensure that all new products/services are in line with the business strategy and risk appetite of the Bank.
• To ensure that material changes to existing products shall go through comprehensive review and assessment to identify the risks associated with these products.
• To provide a centralized platform to ensure risk assessment by all technical expert functions (such as Information Security, Compliance, Information Technology, Legal, Finance, Operations etc.) on a consistent basis, following a standardized process and minimizing chances of assuming unnecessary risks.
• Responsible for documentation of key risks along with associated controls via the Risk Assessment Sheet
• To seek proactive remediation/actions placement on open risks highlighted via the NPIA process
• Responsible for the preparation of Management Risk Committee (MRC) and Board Risk Management Committee (BRMC) presentations from NPIA’s perspective.
• Implementation and execution of NPIA (New Product Initiative Assessment) framework across business units and support functions.
• To maintain a workflow (from a turnaround perspective) for all the product papers reviewed and share it with senior management and relevant stakeholders as and when required.
• To provide all the required details to Audit (external, internal, SBP) in timely manner and ensure resolution of audit observations as per committed timelines.
• Providing training to Business Lines regarding the Policy and Process for NBPI.

Qualifications:Minimum qualifications:

• At least a Bachelors with relevant certifications such as FRM preferred.

Minimum experience:

• At least 3-5 years’ experience in a Financial Institution, preferably in a bank and in a risk management or product management function.
