This role is pivotal subject matter expert that provides crucial advice to all business units within Crown. You will help set the strategy to ensure our operations comply with the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (AML/CTF Act) and AML/CTF Rules. you will also:

  • Act as the go-to expert for all AML/CTF related queries at Crown Sydney.
  • Review and provide strategic advice on AML/CTF matters to the business.
  • Lead and drive strategic uplift initiatives as part of Crown’s Financial Crime & Compliance Change Program.
  • Review and advise on financial crime impacts of new business initiatives.
  • Assist in delivering AML/CTF risk awareness training.
  • Collaborate with business units and other stakeholders on AML/CTF matters.
  • Oversee and manage AML/CTF projects to ensure timely and effective delivery.

About YouWe are looking for a financial crime financial crime subject matter expert. Passionate about supporting the teams at Crown, you will have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Ideally you will have some exposure to the gaming industry, however experience in the financial sector will also be valuable. You will also have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in AML or financial crime compliance, regulatory, or consulting roles.
  • Experience dealing with regulators is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the AML/CTF regulatory framework.
  • Interest in or knowledge of gaming operations, policies, and procedures.
