• Lead an engineering, reporting and analytics team capable of meeting or exceeding deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Data Extraction and Transformation:
• Locate and extract data from diverse sources, including databases, APIs, and external systems.
• Transform raw data into structured formats suitable for analysis, modeling, and reporting.

Dashboard and App Maintenance:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to build new or improve existing dashboards and applications.
• Continuously improve user experience (UX) by incorporating feedback and standard practices.

Technology Exploration:

• Investigate new technologies in partnership with our vendor network.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and frameworks for future implementation.

Data Integrity and Monitoring:

• Monitor ongoing data collection processes to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Implement data quality checks and address anomalies promptly.

Delta Wellbeing Measurement Platform:

• Contribute to the development and improvement of data tools and resources.
• Seek opportunities to enhance data availability and usability for Deltas wellbeing initiatives.

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• 12+ Years of Experience, leading Data Engineers and Analysts teams.
• Bachelor’s degreein computer science, Information Science, Business / Management, Mathematics / Statistics, or a relevant quantitative field.
• Experience in Team Leadership: Managed, mentored, coached and developed teams, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
• Experience in Resource Allocation, Capacity Planning & Resource utilization
• Experience in Performance Management by providing regular performance feedback, recognizing achievements and addressing areas for improvement.

Programming Skills:

• At least5 years of experiencewith Python or other programming / scripting languages.
• Functional understanding of basic and object-oriented programming concepts (loops, conditionals, variables, functions, multi-dimensional arrays).

Data Experience:

• 5+ yearsof experience in analysis, information science, data visualization, or a related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in SQL and SAS and an understanding of efficient query practices.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Comfortable working both independently and in group settings.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS):Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud computing technologies, such asAWS, is a plus.
