0448 557 573 / [email protected]Position DetailsTHE ROLEThis position leads the Complex Clients team in the North East Melbourne Area of the North Division which is responsible for the support and coordination to the Multiple and Complex Needs Initiative and support to departmental renters whose tenancies are at risk due to their complex needs. The position has an Area based focus and provides consultation, support and coordination to services and clients with complex needs.The High Risk Tenancies initiative aims to contribute to more sustainable tenancy outcomes for Victorians whose public housing tenancies are identified as high risk by recommending and coordinating holistic, evidence based approaches to improve overall connectedness to the support system.The Multiple and Complex Needs initiative works with relevant services to provide a more effective and coordinated approach to supporting people with multiple and complex needs. The Multiple and Complex Needs initiative is underpinned by the Human Services (Complex Needs) Act 2009 and is supported by Complex Needs Panels that operate in each of the four Areas within North Division.ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  • Be accountable for the successful delivery of the MACNI and support for High-Risk Tenancies including Key Performance Indicator targets and budget parameters.
  • With a high level of understanding of the local context, strategically review and implement departmental initiatives and approaches that impact service delivery and service system issues and support those initiatives to meet departmental, government and community expectations.
  • Act as a key source of local advice by maintaining an understanding of issues impacting the service system and investigate and lead critical projects that that enhance service delivery, budget effectiveness, efficiency or improved consumer outcomes.
