The leader will lead and drive process excellence initiatives, by end-to-end process analysis and design with an understanding of technical and operating challenges and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment. The role combines hands-on leadership to optimize efficiencies, enhance productivity, and support organizational growth. Subject matter working in a Financial Services Organization and Technical expertise is beneficial. Typically, would have some type of certification such as Six sigma. Conducts performance management and career development processes and staffing and disciplinary actions.Principal Responsibilities:

  • Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise.
  • Responsible for conducting and/or driving detailed process analysis and improvement efforts for NTAM operations utilizing Six Sigma, Lean and other process improvement methodologies to streamline operations.
  • Develop business cases to identify potential impact of process reengineering and/or automation, and measuring value delivered post implementation
  • Partner with global Automation, Data, Capital and Platform Innovation leaders to understand strategic business and functional priorities, ideate how India based teams can deliver value, and oversee the execution of the business priorities.
  • Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.
  • Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
  • Strong functional awareness and engagement across the cross-functional disciplines to provide effective on-the-ground leadership to deepen sense of community across teams.
  • Conducts performance management and career development processes, provides input for staffing and disciplinary actions and provides hands-on training to staff.
  • Develops periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities, and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work.
  • Provides input and support to budget management process.
  • Communicate and connect with multiple levels of the organization and influence changes.
  • Inspires followership by being a visible and connected leader at all levels of their organization.
  • Able to deal with multiple situations escalated by incorporating a broad set of stakeholders’ viewpoints both internally and externally.
  • Promote a continuous improvement mind-set across the organization.
  • Awareness and understanding of data governance principles, practices and frameworks.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology. Expertise in Six Sigma Lean or/and other methodologies (Black Belt preferred)
  • Seasoned expert with extensive industry, technical, business and functional expertise that has been developed over 10-15 years and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, in a comparable role
  • Proven track record and experience in organization and process redesign along with digital transaction and automation experience
  • Be a strategic and analytical thinker, possessing strong consultative problem-solving and data gathering skills, and able to provide creative & innovative solutions.
  • Change management skills including definition of business case & scope, articulation of issues, challenges, risks, dependencies & solutions, status reporting and test execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and oral; confident in interaction with senior stakeholders.
  • Extensive leadership experience demonstrated through empowerment, situational awareness, increasing transparency and conflict resolution on a large-scale program.
  • Proactive, hands-on and engaged, capable and willing to collaborate with teams while coaching them to achieve optimal performance levels.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in automation technology, including RPA, AI and machine learning.
  • Track record of working in global matrixed organizations to collaborate, influence, and deliver on business priorities.
