Job description: About the job As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for operationalizing ML-based solutions using industry-standard best-practices. You will work closely with Data Scientists and stakeholders to understand requirements and create cost-optimized solutions. What you will do: Scope and spearhead projects to fine-tune, distill, or train machine learning models Build infrastructure to operationalize machine learning models in a cost-efficient manner Build pipelines for automating retroactive model performance evaluation Create ways for us to determine and track model performance and accuracy to improve our app and model efficiency over time Optimize existing deployments to reduce cost Innovate our on-device and cloud model architecture in MLX, ONNX, and other frameworks and model formats Design quality monitoring workflows to assess model performance in production Create visualization tools and dashboards to communicate model metrics to stakeholders What we are looking for: With at least a bachelor’s degree in any quantitative discipline (i.e. Statistics, Physics, Math, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.) 2+ years of relevant experience Bonus Experience in model optimization, conversion and deployment via ONNX and similar runtimes
