Job description: On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for an M365 Solutions Architect (2 positions) on a 5-month contract.Summary of the Role:
Our client seeks M365 Solutions Architects to design, develop, and implement M365 solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture and IT strategy. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet organizational requirements.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Architecture Review Committee meetings and contribute to enterprise-level solution designs.
  • Provide strategic direction for the IT roadmap, collaborating with business leaders.
  • Plan and assess IT resource needs while managing budgets.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on enterprise systems and infrastructure technologies.
  • Oversee implementation and lifecycle management of M365 services, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online, ensuring integration with other enterprise systems.
  • Implement security measures, conduct quality assurance, and lead disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including regional health authorities, First Nation communities, and vendors.

Core Requirements:

  • Extensive expertise in M365 services (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online).
  • Proficiency in Azure Active Directory and other Azure services.
  • Demonstrated experience in security, compliance, and monitoring for enterprise environments.
  • Strong background in enterprise systems design and lifecycle management.
  • Proven experience with disaster recovery and security compliance.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of security best practices across M365, Azure, and on-premises environments.
  • Familiarity with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for issue resolution.
  • Experience working with First Nations organizations or similar communities is an asset.

Terms:
This is a 5-month contract with a Hybrid work arrangement. A background check will be required at the offer stage.About Ignite Technical:
