This 80-day assignment begins on 08/01/2025, with a potential for extension. The ideal candidate will work 12 or 24-hour shifts, with 7 to 10 shifts per month, providing 24-hour in-house call coverage Monday through Friday. The physician should be proficient in managing both low and high-risk pregnancies, performing and interpreting OB ultrasounds, conducting amniocentesis, and handling a wide range of labor and delivery procedures. Additionally, the role requires expertise in various gynecological procedures, including both minor office-based and major surgical interventions. • Manage low and high-risk pregnancies
• Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds (Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted)
• Conduct amniocentesis procedures
• Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech, and multiple births
• Handle VBAC deliveries and repair 3rd & 4th-degree lacerations
• Provide comprehensive gynecological care, including office-based procedures (IUD insertion, colposcopy, LEEP, etc.)
• Perform surgical gynecology procedures, both open and laparoscopic
• Manage ectopic pregnancies and conduct ovarian surgeries
• Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring (NST/CST/FSE)
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for patient documentation
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure patient safety and high-quality care at all times
• Adapt quickly to the hospital’s protocols and procedures

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice in Michigan
• Proficiency in Epic EHR system preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
• Comfortable with 24-hour in-house call in designated call room
