About Our ClientA leading US firm that has a strong presence in Hong Kong and China, with a clear commitment to remaining in the region. The client has expertise in the investigations space and is looking to develop this further by the expansion of the team.Job DescriptionWorking on a broad remit of litigation and investigations work within a team that is expanding. You would be expected to help lead on some matters and mentoring the more junior members of the team. You would be working closely with the partner and as such, it can provide career progression in the future as the team continues to grow.The Successful Applicant
- At least 3 years of investigations/litigation experience
- Can be admitted in US, England & Wales, Hong Kong or Singapore. PRC admitted candidates will be considered if they are dual qualified.
- Chinese language skills and fluency in English (drafting in English must be of a high standard)
- The ability to lead matters and mentor more junior members within the team.
- FCPA, UKBA, export controls and sanctions rules, data privacy, etc. experience. Litigation candidates that also have some experience in this area will also be considered.
- Based in Hong Kong, Beijing or Shanghai ideally. If not, must have the ability to be based in one of these jurisdictions.
