The Executive Staff Support will be on a dynamic team, supporting Team Submarine COLUMBIA Program Office. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our sailors.Team Submarine’s Submarine COLUMBIA Class Program Office is responsible for:The construction of COLUMBIA Class submarines, financial and budget management, shipyard support of submarines, vendor support of submarines, logistical support, quality assurance (SUBSAFE), and post-delivery submarine certifications and test programs.The Team Submarine concept unifies once diverse submarine-related activities into a single submarine-centric organization with the goal of eliminating traditional stovepipe structures and processes that created impediments and inefficiencies in the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities. • Serve as a management advisor using a high-level of discernment and judgment to address a wide variety of interrelated subject matter, that can include legislative, financial, contractual, programmatic, or other program office focus areas, requiring specialized ability to correlate and corroborate information into reports and records.
• Provide a wide range of substantive oral and written presentations and reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate group efforts and consolidates findings into products. Develops briefings for senior stakeholders.
• Develop and implement overall program requirements based on new or revised legislation.
• Demonstrate experience with acquisition management of programs with tasking that may include development of acquisition strategies and preparation of required acquisition documentation to support milestones.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in preparing, selecting, organizing, and presenting information concisely.
• Ability to work well within a time sensitive environment.
• 10% travel required.

Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 to 7 years of experience with congressional correspondence or equivalent military experience.
• An advanced MS Office skillset to include Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Teams.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment accepting emergent tasking with little to no supervision and/or direction.
• Ability to work both independently and within large team environments.
• Discretion in performing specified work requirements.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with a vast team of diverse professionals.
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines, as well as work independently and with sufficient knowledge to present projects to senior management.
