Job description: Due to expansion we are recruiting an experienced legal executive.Department: Litigation TeamExperience Required: 8 + years in a busy Litigation DepartmentOverviewWe are seeking an experienced Legal Executive to join our Litigation Team. The ideal candidate will have experience with or has specialised in commercial litigation roles. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in managing critical, complex legal disputes and delivering exceptional results for clients with the Partners. The ideal candidate will have 8 + years experience in litigation and commercial litigation, whilst demonstrating expertise in case management, legal research, drafting, and client interaction.Key Responsibilities

• Case Management – Assist with the management of commercial litigation cases, including preparing case files, liaising with internal teams, and supporting senior solicitors and partners.
• Client Support – Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing timely updates, addressing inquiries, and maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Legal Research and Analysis – Conduct detailed legal research on various aspects of commercial law, identifying relevant precedents, case laws, and legal insights to support case strategies.
• Document Drafting and Review – Draft and review legal documents whilst ensuring that all documents are meticulously prepared, accurate, and aligned with the litigation strategy.
• Court Filings and Appearances – Coordinate and handle filings with courts or arbitration panels, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements and timelines. Attending court hearings, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations as needed.
• Discovery and Evidence Management – Oversee the discovery process, managing document requests, reviewing evidence, and coordinating with other parties to gather essential information.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with partners, senior solicitors, paralegals, and other members of the litigation team to ensure cohesive case strategy and efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field or Legal Executive certification or equivalent qualification desirable.
• Experience: 8 + years’ experience, in a busy legal practice

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High proficiency in drafting legal documents.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed termPay: €24,808.37-€51,680.39 per yearExpected hours: 35 per weekSchedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Education:

• Advanced/Higher Certificate (required)

Experience:
