Job description: Legal Director – Real Estate Are you an experienced and motivated Real Estate Solicitor ready to step into a Legal Director role? We are seeking a skilled and driven Legal Director to join a well-established law firm in Coventry. If you have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in real estate law and are looking for the next step in your career, this opportunity could be the perfect fit. Role Overview: As a Legal Director in the Real Estate department, you will be at the forefront of providing expert legal advice on a wide range of real estate transactions, including leases, sales, purchases, and re-mortgages. Additionally, you will support colleagues in the Corporate & Commercial departments on transactions involving real estate assets. Key Responsibilities: – Lead and manage real estate transactions, including leases, sales, purchases, and re-mortgages, involving both registered and unregistered, leasehold and freehold properties. – Draft, review, and amend legal documents with attention to detail and clarity, ensuring all transactions are well-documented. – Provide transaction reports to clients and professional lenders, offering expert guidance and advice throughout. – Develop a strong working knowledge of the case management system, ensuring efficient and professional management of files. – Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
