Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex agreements, including EPC contracts, LNG SPAs, O&M agreements, and fuel procurement arrangements. Ensure compliance with both local and international regulatory frameworks governing energy and infrastructure projects. Manage legal risks across large-scale projects in oil, gas, power grids, and renewable energy developments. Lead dispute resolution strategies, particularly focusing on arbitration and mediation. Provide legal support for M&A transactions, including due diligence and integration of energy assets. Collaborate closely with government agencies, regulators, and other industry stakeholders on legal matters. Align legal strategy with business goals, working closely with project development, finance, and operations teams. The Ideal Candidate: Juris Doctor (or equivalent) with relevant qualifications to practice in applicable jurisdictions. 5 years of legal experience in oil and gas, offshore projects, or energy infrastructure, ideally within a publicly listed company or a top-tier law firm. Experience in LNG contracts, project finance & public-private partnerships. Proven experience in regulatory compliance and risk mitigation for oil and gas or power grid projects. International exposure and familiarity with energy frameworks in key markets, including the US, is a strong plus.
